This is a 5 days Murchison Kibale safari that takes you to Murchison Falls National Park for a game drive and a boat cruise. You will, on a Uganda safari, pass through Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, and while at Kibale National Park, you will have a chimpanzee trek and also have a Bigodi swamp walk.

Detailed itinerary for the 5 days Murchison Kibale Safari
Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
You will be picked up from a hotel in Kampala by our professional company guide, who will transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will engage in rhino tracking.
After rhino tracking, you will proceed to Masindi town, where you will have lunch. You will arrive at Murchison Falls National Park in the late afternoon, and you will check into a lodge. You will have some rest at the lodge, have dinner, and then retire to bed.

Day 2: Morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at the lodge in Murchison Falls National Park, and then you will go for an early morning game drive. You will first be briefed at the park headquarters, and then you will proceed to the game drive. The game drive will take about 3 to 4 hours. You will have amazing wildlife views and experience various ecosystems during the game drive in Murchison Falls National Park. You will then head back to the lodge after the wonderful wildlife experience.
You will have lunch at the lodge and then go for an afternoon boat cruise at the bottom of the falls that will last for about 2 hours. You will spot aquatic animals like hippos, crocodiles and many more. You will then get back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Early morning breakfast at the lodge in Murchison Falls National Park. You will then check out of the lodge after having breakfast. You will set off to Kibale Forest National Park. You will have an en route lunch at a hotel while you are heading to Kibale National Park. You will check into a lodge in Kibale National Park when you arrive. You will have dinner after freshening up, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and a Bigodi swamp walk
You will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will receive the guidelines to follow while chimpanzee trekking, and then you will be given an armed ranger guide to escort you. You will have about 1 hour with the chimpanzees after finding them. Finding them takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on where they are located. While with them, you will observe how they eat, play and much more. You will get back to the lodge after the chimpanzee trekking experience. You will have lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk. You will explore this wetland as you spot birds, vegetation covers and several primates. You will then get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Depart for Kampala
Early in the morning, you will be served breakfast, and after having breakfast, you will leave the lodge and embark on the journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at a hotel, and you will have lunch. After having lunch, you will go ahead with the journey to Kampala. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening, and you will either be taken to Entebbe Airport for a flight or be left at a hotel in Kampala.
