Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
On day 1 of the 5 days Murchison Falls and Kibale chimpanzee safari, according to your location in Kampala, a guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will come to pick you up, and you will set off with him after the safari information that will be given to you. You will head to Murchison Falls National Park and branch to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will go ahead and engage in Rhino tracking, where you will spot the rhinos. You will continue to Murchison Falls National Park with an enroute lunch in Masindi town. You will have dinner at the lodge in Murchison Falls, and you will leave for bed after

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On day 2 of the 5 days Murchison Falls and Kibale chimpanzee safari, you will be served breakfast at the lodge, and then a guide will drive you from the lodge to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will meet the guides to brief you at the park headquarters about the morning game drive, and then you will set off with a ranger guide. You will see the animals and birds rising from their habitats in the morning in search of what to eat. You will spot animals like the elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, Uganda kobs and many more. You will be transferred by the guide back to the lodge, and you will relax and then be served lunch.
After resting, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will have a guide who will take you to the bottom of the falls for a boat cruise. The boat cruise will be conducted at around 2 pm. You will be able to see the aquatic animals like the hippos and the crocodiles. You will also spot those on the shores like the elephants, buffalo, lions and many more. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge, and you will spend the rest of the time at leisure. You will be served dinner, and you retire to bed.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On day 3 of the 5 days Murchison Falls and Kibale chimpanzee safari, you will get breakfast at the lodge and then check out of the lodge. You will start the journey to Kibale National Park. You will have an enroute lunch and you will arrive at Kibale National Park in the evening. You will be welcomed and check into a lodge for dinner, and after dinner, you will head to bed and you will have your night’s rest.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
On day 4 of the 5 days Murchison Falls and Kibale chimpanzee safari, you will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge in Kibale National Park. The guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to the park headquarters. At the park headquarters, you will be briefed on issues concerning chimpanzee trekking. You will be told the rules and regulations to follow while chimpanzee trekking, and you will also receive the dos and don’ts when conducting a chimpanzee trek. You will head to the forest to locate the chimpanzees while on your Uganda safari, and it takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours to locate them. You will meet several primates as you trek in the forest, and some of these primates are the l’hoest monkeys, blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many more. You will have one hour with the chimpanzees after locating them, and you will be able to see a lot of details about them, for example, how they breastfeed, play, feed and many more. You will then get back to the lodge after doing some photography. You will have lunch, and then you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk.
You will go for the Bigodi swamp walk with a guide, and you will spot the various bird species at this wetland. Some of the birds that you will spot include the grey crowned crane, great blue turaco, yellow billed barbet, double-toothed barbet, yellow rumped tinkerbird, black headed gonolek, sunbirds, papyrus gonolek and many more. You will spot primates like the olive baboons, black and white colobus, red-tailed monkeys and many more. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Depart to Kampala
After having breakfast on the 5th day of the safari, you will meet up with the guide after leaving the lodge. You will depart for Kampala with a stop at Mbarara for lunch. You will proceed and stop at Kayabwe for souvenirs and also for photography at the equator. You will be dropped off at a hotel in Kampala.
