This is a 2 Days Rwanda gorilla tour to Volcanoes National Park that begins with a pick up from Kigali Airport in Rwanda, and you head for a city tour to Kigali genocide memorial and Rwanda art museum before being transferred to Volcanoes National Park.
On the second day of the safari, you engage in a gorilla trek that gives you the chance to stay with the gorillas for 1 hour in their natural habitat. This tour ends with a transfer back to Kigali Airport.

Day 1: Transfer from Kigali Airport to Volcanoes National Park
Our company representative guide will pick you from Kigali Airport on day 2 of the 2 days Rwanda gorilla tour, and you will go to the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about the events that took place during the 1994 Rwanda genocide. You will see the remains of the participants in the 1994 Rwanda genocide and also be told the significance of this memorial ground.
The guide will then drive you to a hotel in Kigali, and you will have lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Rwanda art museum. You will have views of different art pieces that are in this place, and you will be able to learn about the history and traditions of the Rwandese that are showcased through the art pieces. The guide will then drive you to Volcanoes National Park.
The journey to Volcanoes National Park will take approximately 2 hours you will get there in the evening. You will check into a lodge, have dinner and retire.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and departure to Kigali Airport
On the last day of the 2 days Rwanda gorilla tour, you will have an early morning breakfast, and then the guide will transfer you from the lodge to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be given the guidelines to follow while gorilla trekking, and afterwards, you will be allocated a gorilla family to find. You will then be given an armed ranger guide to go with you on the trek.
The gorilla trek will involve searching for the gorillas, which will take about 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on their location. Once you spot them, you will spend only one hour as you observe the way they feed, play and much more. You will be allowed to take pictures of the gorillas, and then you will be taken back to the lodge.
You will be served lunch at the lodge, and then the guide will drive you back to Kigali Airport for your flight.
