This is a 2 days Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest that will take you on a Uganda safari to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will set off from Kampala and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. You will then head to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will spend a night at a lodge and then engage in chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest the following day. You will then depart for Kampala, which will mark the end of the safari.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
At a hotel of your choice where you will have spent the night, our company representative guide will meet you there in the morning and brief you shortly about the 2 days of chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest. You will then set off to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will get the chance to engage in rhino tracking. You will then continue with the journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
You will have a stopover at Masindi town in a hotel where you will have lunch. After the lunch meal, you will head to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to hike to the top of the falls to see the powerful Murchison Falls. The guide will then transfer you to a lodge where you will check in. You will have dinner, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest and transfer back to Kampala
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the headquarters for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking in Budongo Forest. You will then start the search for the chimpanzees. You will take about 2 to 4 hours searching for the Uganda chimpanzees in the forest, and you will have numerous wildlife encounters. When you spot the chimpanzees, you will spend 1 hour with them as you observe how they feed, play, breastfeed and do much more. You will then take pictures of the chimpanzees. The driver guide will take you back to the lodge.
You will be served lunch at the lodge, and then you will check out. The guide will drive you back to Kampala. You will arrive in the evening, and you will check into a lodge for your night’s stay.
