Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls national park
On day 1 of the 5 days Uganda honeymoon safari to Murchison Falls national park, you will be picked up by a guide from Chopper tour and travel from a hotel in Kampala. You will go through the itinerary and then you will set off to Murchison Falls national park. You will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking, where you will get a chance to see the rhinos that are sheltered there. You will have another stopover for lunch and then proceed to Murchison Falls national park. You will arrive at the park, check into a lodge and then head for dinner. After dinner, you will head to the lodge, where you will sleep.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a nature walk
On day 2 of the 5 days Uganda honeymoon safari to Murchison Falls national park, you will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge. The guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing. You will receive the rules and regulations to abide by as you conduct a game drive. You will then be handed over to the guide who will escort you to the drive. The game drive will take about 3 to 4 hours and you will spot several animals in the morning as they leave their habitats to look for something to eat. You will spot animals like lions, buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, bushpigs, Ugandan kobs, leopards, and many more. After the game drive, you will be taken back by the guide to the lodge and you will have lunch.
In the evening after briefing at the park headquarters, you will head out with a ranger guide. Nature walks are done in Rabongo Forest and Kaniyo Pabidi Forest, where you will view a lot of nature-related sites as well as different animal and bird species. You will be able to see the animals and birds at a very close range. You will then head back to the lodge and have dinner. After dinner, you will retire to bed.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking and an afternoon boat cruise
On day 3 of the 5 days Uganda honeymoon safari to Murchison Falls national park, you will have morning breakfast at the lodge. The guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing. You will receive the rules and regulations to abide by as you conduct a game drive. The ranger guide will then take charge and escort you to the chimpanzee trek. The chimpanzee trek will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the location of the chimpanzees. You will come across several animal and bird species in the Budongo Forest as you search for chimpanzees. After spotting the chimpanzees, you will spend an hour with them to see how they feed, play, and associate with each other. You will take pictures and then the guide will take you back to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, a guide will take you to headquarters for a briefing, and then you go for an afternoon boat cruise. You will enjoy the boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, where you will spot various birds and animals, including hippos and crocodiles. After the boat cruise, you will head back to the lodge, and you will relax. Later in the evening, you will have dinner and retire to bed

Day 4: Birdwatching and hiking to the top of the falls
On day 4 of the 5 days Uganda honeymoon safari to Murchison Falls national park, you will have breakfast at the lodge and the guide will pick you up from the lodge and take you to the park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will go birdwatching, where you will spot a number of bird species that reside in this park and some of them include the African grey woodpecker, eastern plantation eater, white-crested turaco, yellow-fronted tinker bird, long-tailed nightjar, Denham’s bustard, black-billed wood dove, Abyssinian roller, swamp flycatcher, Senegal thick-knee, Abyssinian ground hornbill and many more. You will then return to the lodge, where you will have lunch.
After lunch, you will relax, and later in the day, you will attend another briefing before embarking on the hike to the top of the falls. The hike to the top of the falls takes approximately 45 minutes, and after observing the beautiful sites there, you will return to the lodge. You will have dinner and retire to bed
