The 5 days Murchison Falls and Maasai wildlife safari takes you to two savannah wildlife national parks. Murchison Falls National Park on a Uganda safari, where you will have a game drive and boat cruise on the Victoria Nile, and then later proceed to the Maasai Mara Reserve for a full-day game drive.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer To Murchison Falls National Park
Depending on your arrival, the safari guide will pick you up and brief you about the safari. After the briefing, you will embark on the journey to Murchison Falls National Park, which takes 6 hours. You will have a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a rhino tracking experience. After the trek, you will proceed to Masindi for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed with the journey up to the national park, and on arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drive And Afternoon Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you will head into the park for an early morning game drive. You will board a ferry at Paraa and cross over to the northern part of the national park. The game drive takes 1 to 2 hours, and you will be accompanied by a trained park ranger. You will spot animals such as buffaloes, warthogs, elephants, giraffes and bird species such as the saddle-billed stork, the majestic grey crowned crane and the handsome black-headed spur-winged lapwing, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head to Paraa for an afternoon boat cruise, which begins at exactly 2 pm. The boat cruise takes 3 hours along the Victoria Nile, and you will spot wildlife species such as crocodiles, hippos and buffalo and bird species such as marabou storks, shoebills and white egrets, among others.
Day 3: Transfer To Entebbe And Fly To Maasai Mara Reserve
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Entebbe airport, where you will board a flight to Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. On arrival, you will have lunch and either choose to relax at the lodge or have a nature walk within the park. After the nature walk, you can head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive
After morning breakfast, you will head out to the reserve for a full-day game drive. While on the game drive, you will spot lions, antelopes, wildebeests, cheetahs and hyenas in the reserve. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will head out for an afternoon game drive in the reserve, where you will see wildebeests during the migration season, which is early July to September. You will also spot cheetahs, jackals, topi, impala and black rhinos. You will also head to the Mara River, which has a large number of hippos and crocodiles. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer To Nairobi And Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head to Narok, a famous Maasai town. You will interact with the local Maasai people as well as visit local craft shops where you can buy souvenirs. After the visit, you will proceed with your drive to Nairobi, where the guide will drop you off at the airport or any place of your choice.
